CONQUERING SATAN'S TEMPTATIONS WITH CHRIST

We are blessed to share this morning’s inspiration with all of you around the world on social media. This morning we’ll learn how Jesus Christ can help us through sinful temptations. As Christians, many of us know by experiences that Jesus Christ is our best defense and offence, when the devil comes to tempt you. Why? Because of Jesus’s own experiences living on earth as a mortal man who was tempted to sin by Satan, yet he never sinned. Because Jesus lived a sinless life, his experiences in conquering Satan’s temptations can help guide those of us who seek his help. See> (Hebrews 2:18)18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted. Because Jesus Christ conquered Satan’s temptations and died without sin, his purity destroyed the devil’s power of eternal death for our souls. See> (Hebrews 2:14)14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; …

My final thoughts
Because Jesus Christ became a mortal man who never sinned, he became our merciful High Priest serving his Father God in Heaven, and can forgive our sins and help us through temptations because he was tempted, yet he remained victorious over the sin of man. We are blessed this morning knowing that with our Lord’s help, we can conquer Satan's temptations no matter what they are. See> (Hebrews 2:17)17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. In every way Jesus Christ came to us as our human brother. He lived with the same temptations as we do, so he could be man's faithful and merciful High Priest serving his Father God in Heaven.

Our Morning Prayer.
Father God, you sent us your Son Jesus Christ to us, to help us fight the temptations put on us by the god of this world. We know your son is our only hope, if we want to conquer Satan's temptations. So, this morning Father we seek Christ’s help, and we thank you for giving your son to us. In the name of your Son Jesus Christ, we pray amen.

May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance
