When the democratic process of proposing and passing laws doesn't yield their desired result, the Left gets right up in the face of their opponents and loudly demands their way.
Recently, this played out in Georgia. The state legislature passed common-sense election reforms, and Governor Brian Kemp (R) signed it into law.
Taking a page from Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, leftist activists pounced. They determined to depict the new state law as "racist" to serve liberal interests.
They specifically targeted Coca-Cola, organizing a rally on April 1 outside the World of Coke museum, which is connected to the soft drink giant's headquarters.
Coca-Cola capitulated to the activists. Then fact-checks about the law began to pile up, admitting revised policies actually do make it easier to vote and harder to commit fraud.
Recognizing FRC's voice on these issues, Governor Kemp joined our national broadcast for an exclusive interview. "Many folks in the corporate community are now realizing that they have been played," Kemp told me. The question is: what will they do about it?
When lies are all the rage, FRC plays a key role in speaking truth boldly.

You might be wondering: Why should Christians engage a cultural flashpoint like the one in Georgia? Because our fundamental, God-given freedoms as Christians and Americans are on the line.
We must be free to live by our faith and honor God with our lives. Our Constitution guarantees the freedom to speak freely, without fear of government reprimand or punishment.
More than that, the need for believers to share the good news of the Kingdom of God stands as a biblical mandate. "How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching?" asks the apostle Paul in Romans 10:14.
That's why FRC is dedicated to defending your First Amendment freedoms -- to keep the doors for the gospel open and enable free expression of biblical viewpoints.

The truth is the Left's agenda is backfiring. Their paid activists might be extremely loud, but their rhetoric and claims to moral values ring hollow.
When people wake up and take a stand, the truth can prevail.
That's why we need to inform American Christians on current issues and disciple them in biblical principles.
We have a strategy to take our message of truth across the country unfiltered. I will be sharing further details in the days ahead.
But all our plans depend on FRC starting this next fiscal year on solid financial footing. We take our role as faithful stewards of every dollar we receive, including your generous gifts, very seriously. Thank you for standing with us at this critical time for our nation!
