They fought a First Amendment court battle to allow #Nazis to march through a #Jewish neighborhood and won! (rightly so)
But in 2020 the ACLU fights TO SILENCE #Conservatives!!!
Some have said that the ACLU
"used to stand on the principles of Free Speech" But I'm wondering if THAT was it, perhaps they just defend THEIR OWN!
They were after all the "National Socialist Party of America" Nazis!
Forty years later, the 1978 Swastika War in Skokie, Illinois, is both well-known and the subject of much confusion. For most, it is remembered as a story about the limits of free speech, centered on a legal battle between the ACLU-represented National Socialist Party of America and Skokie village officials who sought to defend the town’s multitude of Holocaust survivors.
