THE DEVIL LURKS
(John 10:10)10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
It is a fact that Christians fall from righteousness, and one of Satan's most successful ways to drive a wedge between God and his children is causing confusion, friction, or chaos in their lives. Our Father God tells us to always be aware of the devil, lurking around like a lion awaiting its prey. See> (1 Peter 5:8)8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: When we stay focused on the good things of God, our minds will stay clear of unrighteous thoughts. Remaining focused helps us live our Christ-like lifestyles. See> (Philippians 4:8) 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
My Final thoughts.
However, staying focused on good and righteous things from God only helps our minds keep from unrighteous thoughts. It is not enough to guarantee the devil flees from us. Therefore, our Father God instructs us how to make the devil flee from us in his word. See> (James 4:7) 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ... My friends, be blessed this morning knowing our Father will always provide us a way out of trouble. We just need to read his word to find the answers and pray. God is always only a call away.
Let us pray together
Father God, it is wonderful to know that you have provided us all the answers we’ll ever need, as we strive to live our lives for you and your glory. Together with your Son, we can maintain focus on your goodness that our minds stay free from wrongful thoughts. In your Son’s name Jesus Christ, we pray amen.
May we all walk under our Lord and Savior's guidance
