Tags in the tags field on blog articles are words separated by a comma. No # needed. If there is no comma between the words, the system will connect all words with an underscore and make one long word out of it. Spaces between words do not work. This does not apply to in-article hastags. You can still use a #someword in-article, but I don't think the system recognizes in-article hashtags for any reason.
