In the 1980 movie “Hopscotch”, after the FBI bungles an attempt to catch former CIA agent Miles Kendig, (played by Walter Matthau) CIA director Myerson (played by Ned Beatty) climbs out of a car that has slid off the road (driven by an FBI agent) and states, “now I know what FBI stands for, F**cking Ballbusting Imbeciles”. Two measure failed in Congress this week that shows how both Democrats and Republicans voted against key measures.

In one case, the latest funding bill failed by a vote of 220 to 202 with 14 Republicans crossing the aisle and voting with the anti-American Democrats.

The 14 Republicans voted with Democrats after Speaker Mike Johnson had included the SAVE Act, which stiffened rules against allowing illegal aliens to vote in our elections. It would have required voters to supply proof of citizenship to register to vote. The 14 Republicans mostly said they opposed the spending bill itself, not the SAVE Act, but several said the SAVE Act was not a serious move to assure voter integrity.

The Underhanded UN Is At It Again

Not only does it seek to expand the Security Council, but it also proposes a form of UN-administered global tax on sovereign citizens.

Is It Even Possible To Get Back To ‘E Pluribus Unum’?
I pen this after both the second assassination attempt on former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump and listening to a monologue by establishment Democrat Chris Cuomo. In listening to Cuomo’s words – and I by no means agree with his political philosophy as I do believe myriad statements by the elected Left fomented the targeting of Trump – I believe the meat of his intent is absolutely correct.

The division in the United States – and quite frankly, in the whole of the free world – is so extreme that it isn’t unreasonable to ask if societal cohesiveness can ever be achieved again. It’s always been a work in progress and always will be. But as it stands today, the ideological gulf that exists between opposing factions in our society is enormous, and, in my educated opinion, it is manufactured by the elite for the elite.
